There is some good news for Voltron fans everywhere! Like a global pandemic, re-launch fever is sweeping the land and Voltron has not escaped its reach. Some remakes will be good, and others will take your childhood memories and poop all over them like a Vietnamese pungi-stick. We just learned that everyone’s favorite transforming-robot-lions will have their very own San Diego Comic Con panel hosted by none other than Carrie Keagan.
Hey there gang! June was a busy month for us here at the site, but we managed to survive. – Take a look at some of our June highlights and prepare for an intense July.
Reviewing Double Fine’s Trenched actually gave me trench foot! Okay, maybe I didn’t actually get trench-foot (which is nothing to joke about), but I did have such an amazing time playing Trenched that I didn’t move away from the television for a few days. If my feet had in fact been soaking in disease infested waters, I for sure WOULD have gotten trench foot, or as I affectionately call it “The Foot”.

A few years ago we missed this very small window that one has to get Comic Con tickets (now hours) and were stuck waiting for extra tickets to become available. With some luck we were still able to attend Comic Con using the very deal they they’re running now. You’re in luck because MOMENTS ago SDCC opened up some more 4 day passes for you to enjoy!

I was saddened to hear about Ryan Dunn’s tragic passing. Although I never met him personally, I always felt an odd connection to the CKY/Jackass guys as they’re exactly like the crew I grew up with (minus the fame).
Ever think to yourself, man, with so many ways to get fired, I wonder what way would be the most fun. Well, let the boys at NA help you out with that. You can now play the Gameboy Color Game…

When the bubonic plague hit in 1348 it was pretty bad time to be a Catholic. Monks and Nuns were infected just as much as the beggars and peasants, and the one man everyone looked to for guidance, the Pope, packed his bags and ran away to Babylon. Back then, most people believed that the Black Death was in fact one of God’s biblical plagues, and that God was very very pissed off. Acting out of desperation, men committed unspeakable acts in the name of God in order to shield themselves from his wrath. This is a story of those men.
