Yes, I’m fully aware that this article is woefully late, but we’ve been BUSY. The weekend prior to this year’s PAX East I had the opportunity to check out one of Florida’s biggest conventions, the Orlando MegaCon. I do have to say that the number of cosplayers at this year’s MegaCon completely blew my mind. This year’s MegaCon without a doubt had more costumes than ever before. Even if you’re not a cosplayer, you really do have to admire all the hard work and craftsmanship that went into building some of the costumes you see below. Here is quick look at some of the costumes of MegaCon 2013.
Describing what PAX (Penny Arcade Expo) is to someone who has never been to a PAX can be a bit of a challenge. It’s a convention, sure, but it’s also a whole lot more than that. PAX has become a bi tri-yearly pilgrimage for gamers and creatives, a utopia where they can go and be surrounded by other people similar to themselves… oh, and also play some video games.
