Last evening I made my way into the Unicorn theatre here at PAX (complete with Robot Unicorn attack music on.. loop) to relax a bit and check out Crabcat Industries costume non-contest.
Certain concepts sound like a disaster waiting to happen. Mixing a class based first person shooter with the Batman franchise shouldn’t work… but it does.
onlive has a huge presence here at PAX. Most people have little to no clue what onlive is or what magic it brings to the table. The idea behind onlive is a bold one, cloud gaming. This means that your “virtual console” gives you the ability to play games without the use of a proper console. Wizardy you say!!
We were lucky enough to get in the good graces of Bethesda during PAX: East and were excited when they invited us to play Skyrim during the media only hour at PAX: Prime. Behold! A dramatic retelling of my time with The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim
Live DnD with Penny Arcade and the prince of PAX?

Leaked fight footage from the Avengers set! Looks damn awesome!
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, we here at NA love conventions. Sadly, some conventions like Gamescom are a bit out of our reach… and our price range. Even if you couldn’t attend yesterday’s Dragon Age and Mass Effect 3 Q+A session, the nice folks at Bioware were cool enough to record everything for us
You may know Aisha Tyler from Talk Soup, or perhaps her stand up comedy, but did you know Aisha is a big time nerd? The latest episode of her podcast “Girl on Guy” (careful when you Google that) feature’s Chuck’s Zachary Levi and contains just about as much nerdery as one of our OWN podcasts… and that’s really saying something.
