Mass Effect 3: Operation Mastiff -AKA- Load Runner
Hopefully everyone is enjoying an action packed E3 extravaganza this week! For those of us at home who are still enjoying the tactical bliss that is Mass Effect multiplayer, we have some info about this weekend’s community challenge. Unlike the “kill” and “promote” objectives we’ve seen in the past, Operation Mastiff will require the community to complete 100,000 delivery missions, the new objective included in the free Rebellion pack.

Dragon’s Dogma: Capcom Delivers a Fantastical Fantasy Feast!
I had been limping through the darkness for what seemed like forever. My allies had all fallen to an ogre deep within an abandoned mine, and town was nowhere in sight. Out of potions, lamp light, and food I crept through the darkness toward a curious torch in the distance. Salvation? As I approached, squinting to see what was ahead, the blast of an unfamiliar horn made me realize that I had made a fatal mistake. Within seconds a dozen snarling goblins surrounded my wounded avatar with swords raised. Soon after that, I was dead. This is the brutal world of Capcom’s Dragon’s Dogma.

Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker – The Nerd Appropriate Review
This week Bioware hosted a screening of Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker in San Francisco and other locations. I’ll admit, I had no idea this movie was going to be even shown in theaters, much less anywhere where near I live. So, I braved rush hour on the Bay Bridge and headed into the city to take a peek.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown – Release Date Totally Known!
Seeing footage of XCOM: Enemy Unknown at this year’s PAX: East quickly reminded me how much I longed for the glory days of well executed turn based strategy. Not only did the XCOM look incredible, it also seemed to mysteriously capture the tone and pedigree of the original title. If you’re anything like myself and have been waiting for a proper release day for this long anticipated title, we’ve got great news, the wait is almost over!
