Star Wars: Underworld – Upcoming Live Action Star Wars Series Detailed!
The live action series will be called Star Wars: Underworld and will apparently focus on the seedy underbelly of the outer rim at the height of the Empire’s power. According what we’ve been hearing the series will take place between episode 3 and 4 while Luke and Leia are still suffering from acne and Alderanean dating dilemmas. What this also means is that we’ll probably get to see a lot of familiar faces, including one perpetually pissed off Darth Vader (arm jack). According to legend, over 50 episodes of the series have already been written and are just waiting for the right opportunity to get rolling.
April wrap up and a preview of May content!
I’m going to fill you in on a little secret, Nerd Appropriate is run by THREE people all of whom have full time jobs. This means that we run and operate the site in our off hours, and, still have to make time for friends, family, food, and fun. April was a bit of a struggle for us, but we made it through and still managed to provide a sizable chunk of new and exclusive content. There is a ton of stuff in the works for May, but for now, let’s take a look at some of April’s highlights.
Star Wars: Are you ready for Disney’s new Star Tours?
While details Star Tours are still scant, here is what we do know. The new ride will be using James Cameron’s 3D technology (yes still with glasses), you will tour at least three different Star Wars locations: Bespin, Alderon, and Endor. Promotional art shows other well known locations such as Hoth and Coruscant.
Ashley Eckstein: The Nerd Appropriate Interview
Star Wars: The Clone Wars has quickly become one of my favorite things on television. That feeling of raw “magic” that Star Wars made you feel as a little kid is still alive and well every Friday night on Cartoon Network. In honor of the season 3 finale we have the amazing Ashley Eckstein here on our site. The voice of Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tanno, Ashley has transformed Ahsoka into the heart and soul of The Clone Wars. And while we may already know the fates of Anakin, Obi Wan, and Yoda, Ahsoka’s future remains a total mystery.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars – Season 3 Finale – It’s not wise to upset a Wookie.
Fastforward a few years and I have to say that season 3 of the Clone Wars was one of the best adventures I’ve ever witnessed on televison, and I’m elated to say that it ended with a low rumbling Wookie growl last night during the 1-hour season finale.
Today is “Proud to be Me Day”
No one should ever be made fun of for being passionate about something, especially something nerdy. Seven-year-old Katie Goldman was made fun of by the boys in her school for having a Star Wars watter bottle. They told Katie that Star Wars was for boys only.
