It’s that time again. The mother of all nerd conventions is less than a month away and while information is a bit scarce as to which of your favorite shows will be in attendance (all of them), we do have some early panel information that popped up on both TV.Com and TV Guide. With Comic-Con growing each and every year it’s a safe bet that your favorite television series will probably make an appearance to plug their upcoming season or to just have some fun.
Last we we had the pleasure of attending Nerd HQ during Comic Con 2011 and it was a total blast. If you’ve never heard of Nerd HQ, or perhaps wanted to see the panels for yourself… well now you can! The fine folks at Nerd Machine have posted all of their panels on YouTube for nerds everywhere to enjoy. So….Zachary Levi, Danny Pudi, Jorge Garcia, Olivia Munn, Alison Haislip, Alessandra Torresani, and Josh Gomez- The Friends of the Nerdolution Panel was one of the best convention-experiences I’ve ever had and I’m still sort of in awe that it occurred at all. You know when you have a really awesome dream and wake up the next morning thinking that it may have been a little bit real? That’s sort of how I feel this morning. The panel was an hour+ of hanging out with some of my favorite entertainers on the planet in a small room no bigger than a 7-11.
We just got wind that Lilly landed a part in Peter Jackson’s upcoming two-part “Hobbit” film as a wood elf elf named, Tauriel. I always thought that Lilly had very Elven features, obviously Jackson’s casting director agreed with me. Here is what Peter Jackson had to say on the matter.
